This is a nice unit and works well. Great for a beginner. Used for finding gold in an area known for gold, unfortunately, nothing found. I own several detectors and this fits into my lower end. Easy to use.

Got this for my son and he absolutely loves it
This 5” scoop is made of galvanized steel and 1/2" heavy welded wire screen. A “U-shaped” flat bar is brazed around the outside of the screen for support and to eliminate the possibility of crushing the basket. There is also a support bracket to give additional strength and for use a foot kick plate. The handle is 40" long with a rubber hand grip. A very durable, lightweight, easy to use water scoop. Excellent beach scoop – ideal for water hunting and wet or dry sand.

Price & Quality = Relative!
Bought this a while back to upgrade from a less expensive and more simple detector. The build quality and finish on this model is incredible relative to the cost of the unit. I've been out as much as I can with winter upon us but it has performed fantastic and i'm shocked at how reliably it can identify targets, even deeper than i'd have expected too. A great machine and even more surprising is how good it is for the money! Highly recommended.
